Hi friends! Today I am sharing an outfit that I wore to work last week. I hope you all like seeing my day-to-day outfits rather than a styled, stiff shot. Sharing my outfits like this feels much more natural. Now I just need a better iPhone and a bigger mirror!
Although I am not a fan of pink (says the girl with the rose gold iPhone), I have been seeing a lot of pink and blue hues for the spring and I have to say I love it! Pink really has metamorphosed into a neutral. My mom bought me these mules from Target, and they can be worn with so many things! They just so happened to perfectly match (the exact color of my skin 🤣 and) this long cardigan from Free People that I bought right after Christmas (which is now 50% off!!!)
I absolutely adore this shirt and necklace combo. (Both 40% off now through the weekend.) It’s like they were made for each other! Like I said prior, I really love the neutral pink and cool blue tones that are popular this spring. Pink and blue has always been a fave combo of mine! The shirt looks great untucked as well, it’s a little longer and gives a smocked-tunic-y feel.
I’ve finally started posting Makeup of the Day’s on Instagram. Okay, so I’ve only done one so far, but I’ve thought about doing it for a while and this week I finally felt confident enough to start. Tomorrow I will be featuring the makeup I used for this day so look out for that!
The jeans I am wearing are from the absolute best store ever, Madewell. I’ve had them for years, and they still feel good as new. (However when I took them off that day thE ZIPPER BROKE. HOW DO I FIX THAT?!?!?) I’m headed to the mall tomorrow to do some try-ons so maybe I’ll stop in Madewell and treat myself to a new pair 😉
One last thing…an update on Veganism. It’s been great these two days! Although I did dissect a sheep’s heart today in Anatomy and was feeling some cognitive dissonance….but I can’t be too hard on myself! I like to tell myself I’m doing it for health reasons instead of ethical reasons because it’s too hard these days to be perfectly aligned with “what is right” or what is SEEN as right, I guess. So I’m just sticking to taking care of my body because she needs some lovin’!
Okay that is all folks, time to head to class.
